現代における大きな美術館やギャラリーでは、テーマを設けた展覧会や大型作品の設置など空間の広さを生した展示で、作品の魅力を伝えています。

それでは、小さな空間を生かした展示方法とは何か———

それは “1つの作品に焦点を当てること“ なのではないかと考え、「蒐集壱藝」という企画をはじめる運びとなりました。
空間に1つの作品だけを存在させることにより、その作品のもつ魅力や可能性をより伝えていけるのではないかと考えております。

「蒐集壱藝」では、既存の知名度や市場の価値観にとらわれず、選りすぐりの作品を紹介していきたいと思います。
コレクションすることの面白さ、そしてその可能性や意味を共有して頂ければと思います。

更には、美術品の蒐集という、ともすれば近寄りがたいイメージを抱きがちな世界を、気軽に立ち寄れ、楽しんでいただける場にしたいと望んでおります。

「蒐集壱藝」における美術蒐集のかたちが、これからのみなさまの蒐集のお役に立つことができれば幸いです。

In modern days, grand museums and galleries make the most of the vast space available for themed exhibitions and large installation artworks to convey the charm of art.

However, what is the best way to hold an exhibition in a limited space?

We thought, why not focus on one single piece of artwork and let the work of art perform exclusively in the space to reveal its enchantment and potential. Therefore, we decided to launch the project ” Shūshū-Ichigei（Collection of One Art）.”

In ” Shūshū-Ichigei（Collection of One Art）”we would like to introduce the selected artworks regardless of their existing recognition or market value and hope to share our pleasure in the art collection, as well as their possibilities and meanings with you.

Also, as the world of art collection is frequently associated with an unapproachable image, we would like to design a space where people can casually drop in and enjoy themselves.

We would love for ” Shūshū-Ichigei（Collection of One Art）” to ignite or further encourage your interest, knowledge and inspiration around Art.

We firmly believe Art should be available to and enjoyed by all and look forward to welcoming you.
